; HOW TO USE
;   1. Double-click this file and confirm (it writes machine-wide policy, so
;      Windows asks for administrator rights).
;   2. Restart Chrome or Edge completely - close every window first.
;   3. Verify: open chrome://policy (in Edge: edge://policy). Both values below
;      must be listed with status "OK".
;
; WHAT IT SETS
;   SilentPrintingEnabled = 1
;     Printing happens with no dialog. Needs Chrome or Edge 144 or newer.
;   PrintPreviewUseSystemDefaultPrinter = 1
;     Sends that silent print to the SYSTEM default printer. Do not skip it:
;     without this value the browser prints to whatever destination it would
;     have preselected, and on a fresh profile that is "Save as PDF" - tickets
;     then pile up in the Downloads folder and nothing warns you.

; ALSO DO THIS ON THE STATION
;   Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners:
;   turn OFF "Let Windows manage my default printer", then set the receipt
;   printer as the default. Otherwise Windows moves the default to whichever
;   printer was used last.

; TO UNDO
;   Delete the two values under the keys below with regedit, or set them to
;   dword:00000000, and restart the browser.
