A plan is how far you let the guest into ordering: menu only, a QR cart for the waiter, or full order taking with staff screens. The ladder mirrors the order intake modes; the AI features differ in volume inside each plan.

A plan is bought up front for 1, 6 or 12 months. Half a year costs five and a half months, a year costs ten: two months free. Staff, zones, menus, dishes and roles are unlimited on every plan. The full list of caps, with numbers, is on Limits & restrictions.
{primary} A plan belongs to the venue, not to the account: with several venues, each has its own plan and its own payment.
A new venue starts with 30 days of Tourist for free — full order taking, every screen and the largest AI allowance. Nothing to enter or confirm: the trial starts by itself when the venue is created.
The owner gets an email 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends. After the trial comes the same grace week as after a paid period: Tourist keeps working for one more week, until midnight venue time. Meanwhile the Plan & billing page says "The trial ended on …" and until when Tourist keeps working, and the banner offers "Choose a plan". When the week is over, the venue moves to the Menu plan and its caps apply — see What changes when the plan ends. Everything you set up during the trial is kept and works again once you pay.
You can also pay during the trial. A Tourist purchase carries on without a break: the paid period is added on top of the trial days left. A QR order purchase switches on at once, at the moment of payment: full order taking and the Hall and Kitchen screens switch off, and the trial days left move over to QR order. So pay for QR order close to the end of the trial.
The Plan & billing page lives in the venue settings: in the "More" section on a phone, in the account group of settings on desktop. Only the venue's owner sees it and pays; staff with the "Venue settings" permission do not — committing the venue to money is not a shift task.
On the page: the venue's name above the title (with several venues you see which one you are paying for), the current plan and the date it is paid through, how many AI recognitions this month has used, the plan cards with a period picker, a promo code field and the payment history. Older payments open with the "More" button.
Payment is a bank transfer by VietQR code. Pick a plan and a period, press the pay button on the card, and a window with the QR code and the transfer details opens right on the page. The window names the venue, the plan with its period and the order number — "Order #1042", say — with a copy button. Scan the code in your banking app — the amount and the recipient fill in by themselves. The page waits for the bank's confirmation on its own — usually under a minute: the plan switches on automatically, nothing to refresh. Closed the window or the tab before the confirmation — no harm done, the time is still credited as soon as the transfer arrives.
Paying from the same phone the window is open on? Save the QR with a long press or a screenshot and pick it from the gallery in your banking app — or copy the account and the amount with the copy buttons. If the QR did not load, transfer using the details in the same window.
Pressed pay again for the same plan and period — the same QR with the same order number opens while it is valid (the window shows until when); no second invoice is created. Another plan or period is a new invoice. Changed your mind — the invoice stays unpaid in the history; just pick a plan again when you are ready.
Every row of the payment history carries its order number — "Order #…". A row "Checkout not opened" marked "nothing was charged" means the payment service did not open the invoice and no money could have left: just pick a plan again.
{info} If the transfer went out but the plan has not updated within two hours, contact support and quote the order number — it is in the payment window and in the payment's row in the history — and we will find the transfer.
You can renew the same plan at any time without waiting for the end: the new term is added on top of the paid one, it does not start from today, so renewing early costs you nothing.
A higher plan switches on as soon as you pay. The paid days left on the old plan are not lost, but they are converted at the ratio of the monthly prices — what is left is worth what you paid for it: a month of QR order becomes about 11 days of Tourist, and the purchased period is added on top of those. So the "Paid through" date may move earlier after the switch. Trial days are not converted.
While a plan is paid up you cannot buy a lower plan: the purchase would replace the current one and you would lose what you already paid for. In the grace week any plan can be chosen.
We remind you by email 7 days and 1 day before the end. After the paid-through date comes the grace week: everything keeps working as before, and you get an email that the payment is overdue. The plan drops only when that week is over — at midnight, venue time, never in the middle of a shift.
A promo code grants a plan for a set period without payment — how we onboard partners, campaign participants and anyone we promised something to. Enter the code on the Plan & billing page: the plan switches on at once and a line appears in the payment history. One code works once per account: if you run several venues it applies to one of them, and deleting that venue does not give it back. An expired code, or one whose uses are all spent, will not work — ask whoever gave it to you.
A code for a lower plan than the one you have paid for will not apply, and is not used up, until your paid period ends — redeem it after that date. A code for a higher plan switches on at once, and the paid days left are converted as with a purchase (see Renewal and the grace week).
Once the grace week has passed, the venue moves to the Menu plan (or to the plan you paid for). Nothing is deleted — not the menu, not the translations, not the tables, devices or settings. Only what runs changes:
| What | What happens | After payment |
|---|---|---|
| Order intake mode | Drops to what the plan includes: Full → Lightweight on QR order, → Off on Menu. The setting itself is not reset | Comes back by itself |
| The Hall and Kitchen screens | Disappear for the staff; a tablet pinned to such a screen shows a lock screen that names the reason | Come back by themselves: a tablet on the lock screen returns to its screen within about 30 seconds (at once with the "Try again" button) |
| Paper tickets for the kitchen | Not printed on QR order and Menu: the tickets come with the Kitchen screen. The choice in the "Kitchen ticket" row of Settings → Till & printing is kept | Printed again |
| The Ready stage | Absent on QR order and Menu: it works only together with the Kitchen screen, so whoever takes the orders serves the dishes straight away. The kitchen switch in Settings → Screens is not reset | Comes back by itself |
| Menu assistant | On Menu it answers neither text nor voice — the plan window opens instead | Works again |
| Shift chat | On Menu the chat disappears from the navigation and nobody can write in it. The history is kept for the usual 90 days | Comes back with its history |
| Sending orders to your own till (KiotViet, CukCuk) | On Menu new orders are not sent to the till. The till connection is kept | New orders go to the till again |
| "Powered by Qreaty" line | On any plan below Tourist it shows in the guest menu again, even if you switched it off | Hidden again if you had switched it off |
| Tables, devices and languages beyond the plan | Stay and keep working; only adding new ones is refused | Adding works again |
| AI recognitions | The new monthly cap applies; what this month already used is not reset | The new cap |
| Open bills | An open bill can always be closed while the Orders screen is available. The Menu plan has no screens — renew the plan to close the bills, or write to support | — |
The guest menu behind the QR code works on every plan — that promise does not depend on payment.
Only menu recognition from photos is counted — the most expensive operation: the number of recognitions per month and of photos per run depend on the plan (see the plan table). A failed run does not count; the month follows the calendar of your timezone, and a plan change applies the new cap at once. Menu languages are capped by count, not by translations: carrying your edits into the languages you already have, translating guests' order comments, and translating for the guest why an order was declined or cancelled are included without a counter.
Beyond that, every venue has a daily ceiling on automatic AI operations. Once it is reached, edits are carried into translations again the next day, while guest comments and reasons for declining or cancelling orders that come in over the ceiling stay untranslated — the guest reads the reason as it was typed. A manual run shows a message saying the ceiling has been reached; the ceiling resets at midnight, venue time.
